K1 – Mrs. Feltman

K1 is following our Lenten path…

Dear K-1 Fish & Parents,

We had such a nice surprise with sNoW dAyS this week!  I hope that you enjoyed an extra-long vacation from school.  Due to the fact that this week was only two days, we will push this week’s work into next week.  We will work on Mr. X-Ray and the “ot and “ox” families in word study.  We will continue with subtraction, including vertical subtraction, which the children are picking up well.  We will also review St. Patrick a little more and continue down our Lenten path.  We are getting more into the Stations of the Cross and the children have really done a beautiful job showing empathy of what Jesus went through.  We will have LEGO Learning next week as well, as the children seem to enjoy the concept of learning with legos instead of just playing with legos.  A reminder to send in healthy snacks only that are peanut/nut free (cookies and chips are not healthy choices).  Enjoy your weekend and as always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

Blessings during this Lenten Season,

Mrs. Feltman & Mrs. Brown
